ALL FOR A
Off the back of a successful first-time event of the same name held at Veteran’s Retreat in 2020, Beat the Retreat was put together after a social media joke in a truly short time frame of 8 weeks and successfully raised over $7,000 (in the midst of COVID chaos) for the charity organisation that provides much needed support and retreat for veterans, first responders and their families.
#BTR2021 is a one-day music event held this year on Saturday June 26. It features bands and solo artists performing in an informal and family friendly festival style setting. The event offers camping for patrons as an add-on to their ticket price and has a range of food and beverage options as well as activities for the big and little kids. All held onsite at Veteran’s Retreat, which is a registered charity farm stay located in Mothar Mountain, only 10 minutes from Gympie in SEQLD.

The Resilience Tour across Regional QLD throughout Aug, Sep, and Oct started the conversation about mental health in regional communities across the state. This legend is as passionate about mental wellbeing as we at @veteransretreat are. Thank you for your support Jade.
The Mental Awareness Foundation (MAF) strongly advocates for the rights, acceptance and recognition of people dealing with mental illnesses.
