What time do gates open?

Gates open at 9am for camping ticket holders and 10am for General Admission ticket holders.

Are pass outs permitted?

NO pass-outs. For the safety of all patrons, there are strictly NO pass-outs. This means once you leave the festival, your wristband will be removed and you will be unable to gain entry back into the festival. If you believe that you have a legitimate reason to leave the festival, please email us to discuss your circumstances. We thank you for your understanding and hope to make this the best day for you, so you won't want to leave!

Can I buy merchandise at the event?

Yes definitely! There will be a stall where you can purchase Beat the Retreat merchandise and artist merchandise.

Will first-aid be available?

Yes! Our amazing sponsors ASSIST Medics will be in attendance with qualified paramedics and we will also have Basci Fist Aid qualified and Mental Health First Aid qualified personnel assisting them. You will find them in the green high vis vests.

Can I bring food, drink or alcohol into the festival?

Food may be brought in, but remember we have plenty of food stalls on site to keep your bellies full. They also offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

Sealed bottled water may be brought into the festival, and empty plastic or stainless steel water bottles can too, we will also have bottled water for sale. All bags will be searched on entry by security. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN ALCOHOL BE BROUGHT INTO THE FESTIVAL.

Can I drink alcohol at the event?

Yes. You must be over 18 years to drink alcohol. There will be a bar located in the event. Please ensure to bring along a valid and current form of photo ID (eg. drivers licence, passport, Australia Post keypass, and proof of age card). You can purchase drink tickets and exchange these for beverages at the designated bar area. Bags will be inspected upon entry by security. No alcohol may be bought into the festival. Anyone found trying to enter the festival with alcohol may be refused entry and the alcohol will be confiscated.

Do I have to wear a wristband?

Yes all patrons MUST wear a Wristband. You will receive your wristband on entry
into the event, one colour for campers and one for general admission. No wristband – No entry

Where is the event held?

On the pituresque grounds of Veterans Retreat located at 131 Hartwig Road, Mothar Mountain which is located only 10 mins from Bunnings Gympie. Be sure to follow the signs from the corner of Shadbolt and Noosa Road.

What time does the event finish?

The event will finish at 10pm and all General Admission holders must depart the event location immediately. Camping ticket holders must exit the event by 10am Sunday 27 June.

Will I be able to use cash at the event?

We will be running a cashless event again this year. All food/drinks and merchandise will either have EFT or Sqare payment systems.
